Who is Mike Hayslip?
My day job is as an IT security specialist for an Arizona based semi-conductor company.
I’m a photographer too. I shoot mostly landscapes and fine art stuff (I’ve won a couple of awards), but I’ve also recently dabbled into portraits. I like tennis, sci-fi anything, and the occasional exercise routine (although, not as much as I should).
I’m also part owner of a Phoenix based boutique-marketing firm my wife started about 2007. We specialize in marketing for small to medium businesses and offer a wide range of services.

I’m heavy into WordPress. So much so, that I wrote a book about it. The WordPress Quickstart Guide was finished in late 2009 and is now available for purchase.
My wife asked me to write the book after having spent a few hours training our clients on how to work with WordPress. We now offer the book to as a reference guide for working with WordPress.
